ITW to buy software firm (Chicago Tribune)
$292 million deal for Click Commerce called growth platform Illinois Tool Works Inc., moving outside its normal range of acquisitions, agreed Tuesday to pay $292 million to acquire Click Commerce Inc., a Chicago-based maker of supply-chain-management software.
